WELCOME
Welcome! I’m Christine, a dedicated voice and piano teacher with a passion for helping students unlock their full potential—on stage and beyond. With a background in vocal performance, pedagogy, and years of private teaching experience, I’ve designed The Vocal Studio of Christine Cohen to be a place where students feel supported, inspired, and equipped to grow.
My approach is both technique-focused and heart-centered. I believe that music is not only a skill to master, but a powerful tool for building confidence, creativity, and expression.
I work with students of all ages and levels, offering lessons that are personalized, engaging, and goal-oriented. Whether you’re preparing for a performance, audition, or simply want to explore your musical talents—I’d love to work with you.

🎶 Helping Students Find Their Voice and Love for Music
I’m Christine, a passionate voice and piano teacher who relocated to the Kansas City area a few years ago. After many wonderful years teaching in New Jersey—where I offered private piano and voice lessons and served as a Musical Director for Triple Threat Theater Productions—I took some time to focus on my family after our move. Now, I’m excited to rebuild my teaching studio and share my love of music with a new community.
With 15 years of teaching experience and a degree in music from Eastern University, I specialize in the bel canto method of vocal training, which emphasizes healthy technique, breath control, and expressive artistry. I also teach beginning to intermediate piano lessons and especially enjoy introducing young children to music in a fun and encouraging environment that builds confidence and a strong foundation.
I love working with students in a variety of styles, including classical, musical theatre, and worship music. My mission is to help each student grow not only in skill, but also in creativity and self-expression—unlocking their full potential both on stage and beyond.
